But what happened to the car?????

So the next morning I got a call from the garage where we left the car, turns out the slipping belt that I should have fixed earlier had ended up killing the battery, I mean killed dead, melted. So a new belt, belt adjustment mechanism, belt tightening screw (which was missing) and battery... $300us later... ARGH
